“We forgot a corkscrew for our bottle of wine and the staff immediately sent one to our room. The bathroom had some baseboard damage ...a corner was gouged...overall, great venue. Would return”

“The location of the Hotel Sax is excellent, right in the River North neighborhood of downtown Chicago, within walking distance to the Loop, the Magnificent Mile (Michigan Avenue), great shopping and delicious restaurants. It's proximity/relationship with the House of Blues makes that a convenient and high quality entertainment option. The Bin36 wine bar and restaurant is a modern, clearn place to have a creative meal or sip something before you head out. The hotel lounge bar is phenomenally decorated with top notch DJs and decor. The room is designed with fantastic color schemes (ours was purple-heavy) and sports comfortable beds with good room lighting and a nice view of the Chicago River.”

“Hotel Sax in Chicago had friendly staff and fairly pleasing accomodations. There were a couple of things wrong with our room like the TV remote didn't work until we called the guest services and there was a knob for heat in the bathroom, but no heat. These things didn't detract too much from a relaxing stay, though. Great location and the concierge was extremely knowledgeable and helpful.”

“We had a problem with the standard room that we had, and the hotel was very accommodating and moved us to a new room. We enjoyed the upgrade to the 7th floor - a much larger room. We liked the smaller, 6th floor room, but it was rather dark and cozy. I prefer the 7th floor.”

“Great central location, chic rooms were very clean and comfortable, great restaurant Bin 36 downstairs has friendly staff and locals. Hip bar and proximity to House of Blues make this a convenient hotel for business or pleasure. Situated above a Crunch Fitness with direct access from the hotel, a nice feature.”
