“Very nice vibe from the moment I arrived. Room was big, public spaces well set out - the view from the terrace is fantastic - and the staff were friendly and efficient. Food was really well prepared and more interesting than most American hotels”

“Loved the retro chic of the 1940s motor hotel atmosphere. Lovely and attentive staff. Valet parking included in room rate. Rooms, lounge and restaurant well decorated. Especially liked the period lamps in the room.”

“The old buildings have been imaginatively reused, with native landscaping serving as a buffer between the various buildings. Former carports are now screened "living rooms" and our room was simple but tastefully redone. I liked the pedestrian-only layout. The views toward downtown Dallas are amazing and the small extra cost for a room with a view was well worth it. I also enjoyed the operable windows, as the fall breezes were nice in the evenings. The lobby has a nice feeling - mid-century modern funrishings and stylish art on the walls. The swimming pool and adjacent lawn make a relaxing area - and have a view toward downtown.”

“Very charming hotel which offers a take back to the 1950's with updated modern amenities. Fantastic view of downtown Dallas from the patio, great ecclectic menu at the diner style restaurant, and the friendliest staff on hand to make you feel at home.”

“From the beginning to the end..the guys and gals at the Belmont were friendly and Real. Nothing fake here, just good Texas fun and great Barbeque next door at SMOKE with a nice bar as well. My room was clean and very reasonably priced. If you want to get away from Downtown prices but still be close this is your place.”
