This was a super cool hotel that exceeded expectations in every way possible.

Although Hotel Unique is realy top-notch in terms of service and design, one thing really bothered me: the noise from the street woke me up in the morning (although I was on the 6th floor). For the kind of price paid, one could expect perfect silence in the rooms.

Very friendly hotel staff, very pleasent stay because of them.

The only down side was that after spending an entire week at the hotel, it was not easy to negotiate late check out.

Great hotel and good service but why play any music in the lobby when it simply bounces of the high ceilings and make any conversations impossible. Also why play music at 8.00AM near the outside pool? Quitness can also be hip and cool

Hotel was generally very nice. Champagne reception on arrival was a very good welcome. I found parts of the hotel to be too dark (perhaps an intended feature, but really too much). There is too much music everywhere, I feel the lobby area should be quieter, yet it has a 'clubby' feel to it which is not a good business environment.

The design and the facilities are superb. The restaurant is really good. The Skye bar has a cutting edge ambiance.

Love the Unique! The staff is AMAZING and were such a huge help to us especially considering that American Airlines lost our luggage. Can't wait to go back!

Hotel unique gets a lot of press for its public spaces, but no one seems to know they actually have a very charming staff (hello! They gave me a coconut with my turn down service), and a lovely gym and fitness area complete with a whimsical pool and built in chase lounges for those who want to swim but want to avoid the scene-y "Skye" upstairs. Also, they gave us a lovely glass of Veuve Cliquot as a welcoming treat.

The hotel was fabulous and certainly unique in design and benefited from an excellent restaurant and bar and super roof-top pool. The views of the city from the roof were superbe. However, I have two major complaints that is common to alot of "design" or "boutique" hotels. Firstly, there was no coffee/tea facility in the room or complimentary in the lounge area, and no nearby local coffee shop. I object to paying $10 for a cup of coffee. Secondly, there were no draws! My partner and I were staying for 5 nights!!!! Also, no iron or board!!!!

The staff at this hotel could not have been more helpful or engaged -it was like being welcomed home, rather than to a hotel! Fantastic!
